Corcoran put together a quick 4-0 run on her own to get back to 24-29 but a Brooke Cason three pointer broke it up. Corcoran got the last laugh as she drained a layup just before the horn to make it a 27-21 Hornet lead at the break.
  • The two teams traded makes out of the intermission before another Cason long ball and a Mullins pushed the lead back out to double digits. A second-chance effort from Freeman sparked an 8-0 BC run with four points from bother her and Corcoran to get the Eagles back to within a bucket at 36-34. Lynchburg responded with four quick ones of their own before makes from Corcoran and Garcia got the Eagles right back to a two-point deficit. The Hornets delivered as scouted, sinking a pair of three pointers in the final thirty seconds of the quarter to make it 46-38 heading to the final period.
  • Alsberry found Alexis Edmonds on the Eagles' first possession of the fourth for an easy two before Edmonds backed that up with a long ball to get BC to within four. The Eagles flipped the script with six makes on seven attempts combined with a perfect two-of-two at the stripe over the run to go ahead 57-50 with under three minutes to go.
