LEXINGTON, Va. – The Bridgewater College men's track & field team wrapped up day two of the Washington and Lee Track and Field Carnival on Saturday.
The Eagles kicked things off in the field events where
Mike Smith took first in the shot put with a heave of 13.97 meters setting a new outdoor personal best.
Peter Fulton notched a fifth-place finish recording a mark of 13.15m
Tony Nesselrodt recorded a throw of 11.42 meters setting a new outdoor personal best.
Ryan Duncan set a new outdoor personal best as well with a toss of 8.23m.
Fulton grabbed first in discus recording a mark of 46.81m. Smith followed right behind finishing second and setting a new outdoor personal best with a throw of 43.13m moving him to eighth on the all-time list for the Eagles.
Jake McNutt finished fourth for the Eagles with a throw of 41.64
Bryce Hoffman set a new outdoor personal best in discus with a toss of 37.82 meters. Duncan set a new outdoor personal best as well recording a mark of 25.91 meters.
Euan Spikers set a new outdoor personal best in the javelin throw recording a mark of 41.66m.
Easton Repko notched a second-place finish in pole vault with a new outdoor personal best effort of 4.28m moving him to third all-time for the Eagles.
Aaron Moon grabbed a third-place finish in the triple jump finishing with a mark of 12.97m.
Anthony Matthews finished right behind Moon In fourth with a leap of 12.96m.
On the track,
Kyle Clanton notched a first-place finish in the 100m dash recording a time of 11.05 seconds.
Cy Alderman recorded a new personal best time of 11.50 seconds.
Ben Baker recorded a new outdoor personal best as well with a time of 12.39 seconds.
In the 200m,
Conner Mackey recorded a new outdoor personal best with a time of 22.97 seconds. Alderman recorded a new outdoor personal best as well with a time of 23.51 seconds as did Baker with a time of 25.44 seconds.
In the 400m
Kaegan Avalos notched a third-place finish recording a time of 50.82 seconds.
Trey Birchett set a new outdoor personal best running for a time of 54.09.
Tyler Johnson recorded a new outdoor personal best in the 110m hurdles with a time of 18.55 seconds.
Brandon D'Amour set a new outdoor personal best in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:06.71.
The Eagles are back in action on March 25 as they host the Doc Jopson Invitational at Bridgewater starting at 9:30 am.
