HIGH POINT, N.C. – The Bridgewater College men's track & field team wrapped up the VertKlasse Meeting on Saturday.
The day started with a big PR from
Kyle Clanton who finished the 100-meter dash with a time of 10.64 seconds placing him ninth in Division III and ties him for third on the Eagles all-time list.
Aaron Moon finished the 110m hurdles with a time of 16.10 seconds.
Trey Birchett set a new personal best in the event running a time of 17.13 seconds.
In the 200m,
Conner Mackey set a new personal best finishing with a time of 22.95 seconds as did
Cy Alderman running for a time of 23.26 seconds.
Kaegan Avalos finished the event with a time of 23.33 seconds, as well.
Tyler Johnson continued the PR trend for the Eagles setting one of his own in the 400m hurdles with a time of 1:03.05.
Brandon D'Amour also set a new personal best in the event running for a time of 1:05.00.
In the field events,
Anthony Matthews set a new personal best in the triple jump with a mark of 13.71 meters (44' 11.75").
Peter Fulton finished the discus with a toss of 48.86 meters (160' 3.0") on the day.
Jake McNutt finished the event with a heave of 42.65 meters (139' 11").
The Eagles return to action next weekend as they host the North River Meet at the Jopson Athletic Complex at 9:30 am.
