VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Bridgewater College women's swimming stunned Virginia Wesleyan with a 202-55 win on the road Saturday.
From both relays to individual events, the women dominated in the pool against the Marlins after a setback against Roanoke.
To start the big results off, McKenna Curry exploded in the 100 individual medley setting a school record of 1:04.53. Then, the Eagles secured a couple sweeps in individual events, with a 1,2,3,4 finish in the 200 freestyle and 1,2,3 finish in the 500 free. Melia Ross set a personal best in the 200 clocking a 2:07.16 and Beatriz Macario Molina stood atop the leaderboard in the 500 with a 5:49.01 result.
Annabelle Dragan closed out a tight finish in the 200 individual medley squeezing by for first place along with a personal best time of 2:26.84.
In the 200 medley relay and in the 200 free relay, the Eagles came out on top with the first place teams clocking 1:58.45 (200 medley) and 1:46.20 (free).
