GREENSBORO, N.C. - Bridgewater College women's swimming continued to impress in day three action at the ODAC swimming championships at the Greensboro Aquatic Center Friday.
Three school records were shattered on the third day of competition beginning with McKenna Curry. Curry smashed the program record in the 100-yard butterfly in the morning session with a time of 58.70. Curry later broke that time in the finals for a time of 58.45 and a fifth-place finish.
Later in finals, the 200-medley relay showed out. Grace Warren, Peyton Lawrence, McKenna Curry, and Tessa Gorby put up a blazing time of 1:48.31, setting the new program record. The women placed fifth in the event.
Following a remarkable run last night in the 50-yard freestyle, Tessa Gorby shined again in the 200 free. Gorby set the new program record with a strong time of 1:55.26 and finished second in the event.
To close another solid performance at the ODAC championships, Grace Warren scored high in the A finals of the 100 back with a time of 59.27. Warren took fifth in the event.
After three days, the women remain in fifth with a total of 197 points.
The final day of the conference championships continue tomorrow, Feb. 14 in Greensboro.

McKenna curry set a new program record in the 100 fly finishing 5th with a 58.45. Nelle Hines finished 16th with a 1:04.79
Anabelle Dragan followed with a 9th place finish and personal best time of 4:54.95
Peyton Lawrence finished 12th with a 1:08.52 in the 100 breaststroke
Whitney Speeks finished 12th in a 1:03.12 and Mia Flory finished 14th with a 1:03.73

Tessa Gorby broke the 50 free record with a time of 23.75.
Finals
In the 200-yard freestyle relay; Tessa Gorby, Mia Flory, Nelle Hines, and Whitney Speeks broke out the night session with a fourth-place finish. The relay team swam a program record time of 1:38.42.
Grace Warren found a way to slide into the A finals in the 500 free, rolling out a time of 5:17.16.
Gorby cruised by the competition in the 50 free, for a leading time of 23.74; which broke the program record she set earlier in the prelims.
The women closed out the night in program record fashion with a scorching time of 3:59.59 in the 400-medley relay. The relay team of Grace Warren, Peyton Lawrence, McKenna Curry, and Tessa Gorby placed fifth.
