FOREST, Va. - The Bridgewater College women's basketball team was picked to finish fifth in the ODAC Preseason coach's poll.

The league announced its annual coaches poll on Tuesday afternoon.

Randolph-Macon (117 points) was tagged with seven first-place votes to take the top spot. Shenandoah (107 pts.) earned three first-place nods to come in second and Washington and Lee (103 pts.) took the final top-spot vote to round out the podium places.

Batten (86 pts.) came in just ahead of BC (81 pts.). Hollins (73 pts.) came in next at the sixth spot. Guilford (58 pts.) and Roanoke (56 pts.) rounded out the projected tournament field.

Bridgewater returns a pair of starters from last year's squad with Jaiden Polston and Asia Williams, while Jasmine Griffin returns after missing the bulk of last season due to injury. The Eagles bring in a large group of newcomers, led by PSU-Harrisburg transfer Mikayla Coleman.
