FOREST, Va. - The Old Dominion Athletic Conference named sophomore midfielder Paige Overeem offensive player of the week, announced by the league office Monday afternoon.
Overeem tallied a hat trick and an assist for four points in Bridgewater's 13-12 win over Hood on Wednesday, Feb. 18. Overeem scored her second goal of the contest with 27 seconds left in regulation on an extra man opportunity to tie the score at 12 apiece. With 3:40 remaining in the overtime period, Overeem scored the golden goal to give the Eagles a win in their season opener.
Overeem and the Eagles face Marymount in their home opener on Tuesday, Feb. 24 at 4 p.m. The game will be streamed live on FloCollege.
