BRIDGEWATER, Va. - The Bridgewater College baseball team have cracked the top 10 in all three baseball national polls for the fourth-straight week as the Eagles enter the final week in the regular season with a No. 10 ranking in D3baseball.com, a No. 6 ranking in NPI, and a No. 7 ranking in ABCA.
This past week, the Eagles bested Marymount, 10-5, and EMU, 12-10. Over the weekend, Bridgewater fell short to No. 2 nationally ranked Lynchburg in a doubleheader.
The Eagles now stand at 28-8 overall and 10-7 in ODAC play.
Zack Chadwell added 10 RBIs to his season total of 58 from the week along with a grand slam against EMU last Wednesday. Evan Bert registered his third-straight game pitching six innings or more against a tough Lynchburg squad while moving his strikeout total to a team-high 57.
