WILLIAMSBURG, Va. - The Bridgewater College women's golf team saw all five golfers improve their individual scores to finish in fifth at the ODAC Championship.
The Eagles rounded out the tournament with a team score of 321, which was a 12-stroke improvement from the second round. Senior Emily Price led the way again for the second day with a repeated score of 75 (+3) to secure a 15th place top 18 pin flag finish in the individual field among 43 golfers.
Hannah Rizzo shot a tournament personal best score of 77 with a 248 three-day total to earn her the 17th place flag in the top 18 standings. Price and Rizzo combined for eight birdies in the third round.
Iyanna Smith posted a career low score of 83 in the final day of action while Addy Sweet followed closely behind improving by eight strokes from the second round for a score of 86. Sarah Maggi was the fifth finisher who carded a tournament low of 95 and was registered as the drop score.
The team entered the tournament as the seventh seed and maintained their fifth-place standing through three days of action. The Eagles finished seven shots ahead of Averett.
"The girls have done a great job carrying the energy over into the last round. I am so happy to end the season on a high," said head coach Nick Schlickenrieder. "Huge congratulations to senior Emily. She has been an incredibly important part of this team. I am glad she finished her college golf career as well as she did."
Randolph-Macon was crowned ODAC title champions with a six-stroke lead over Washington and Lee. Washington and Lee's Toral Bhatt won the individual title with an even par.
That wraps up the 2025-26 Bridgewater College women's golf season.
