HARRISONBURG, Va. - The Bridgewater College women's golf team finished round one at the home invitational at Lakeview Golf Club in fourth among 10 teams Monday. 

The leading scorer for Bridgewater was Hannah Rizzo with a fourth-place finish after the first 18 holes. Rizzo displayed impressive putting, rattling off two eagles at holes No. 2 and 11 and closed the day with a 75 (+2).  

Addy Sweet rang in as the second lowest scorer for the Eagles with an 82 (+9) and a 12th place finish through one round. Sweet marked four birdies on the scorecard.  

The third scorer was Iyana Smith as Smith carded an 87 (+14) for 23rd place. Sarah Maggi followed with a 31st place finish after day one. Anna Faith Brunk, the newcomer for the Eagles, was the drop score while Aleigha Police played as independent to end the first round at Lakeview. 

The Eagles return to their home golf club tomorrow, Sept. 22 with a shotgun start at 9 a.m.
