GREENWOOD, Ind. - The College Sports Communicators organization (CSC) announced Tuesday afternoon nine Bridgewater athletes to At-Large CSC Academic All-District. 

Nine athletes from five different sports received at-large recognition for their hard work in the classroom and in their respective athletic season. To earn CSC Academic All-District, a student-athlete must obtain a 3.5 GPA in the classroom with a standing of a sophomore or higher and compete in 90% of the contests in the season. 

Kylie Amberger and Lexi Francis received all-district honors for another consecutive year in field hockey as Amberger competed in all 18 games while collecting five goals, five assists, and 15 points; and Francis appeared in 17 games while piling on three goals and six points. Jade Buckles earned the honor also in field hockey playing in 17 games and knocking in two goals as a defender. The fourth field hockey honoree was Ashley Nau. Nau appeared in all 18 games in goal while tallying 49 saves.  

In women's lacrosse, Carly Gardill and Paige Overeem received the all-district honor as they both appeared in all 19 games and combined for 73 points and 53 goals.  

For the men, three student-athletes garnered the award in three different sports. Jeffrey Prevost led the men's volleyball squad in its inaugural season, appearing in 28 matches and posting 162 kills on the season. Ryan Linn received a second-straight all-district recognition after playing in 17 games and amassing seven caused turnovers, 21 ground balls, and 12 assists.  

Brandon Washburn wrapped up his senior campaign on the golf course and landed all-district laurels. Washburn competed in all 10 tournaments and posted seven top five finishes in the season.
