Chapman University snuffed out a Bridgewater rally in the sixth
and held on to defeat the Eagles, 10-6, Tuesday afternoon.
Chapman jumped out to a quick 5-0 lead, but the Eagles bounced back
with four runs in the fifth. Mike Lenox drove home two of the runs
with a single and Kevin Kirk added a sacrifice fly to help the
Eagles pull to within one, 5-4.
Chapman answered with four runs of its own in the bottom of the
inning, but the Eagles clawed back again in the sixth.

three hits. Lenox drove in three runs while Mitchell Edwards and
Aaron drove added two hits apiece.
