BRIDGEWATER, Va. - The American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings announced during the opening ceremony the All-American teams from the 2026 season as Zack Chadwell was awarded All-American First Team as designated hitter for the Eagles. 

Chadwell (Chesapeake, Va.) marked his first ever All-American First Team selection in his career at BC and the first to be awarded first team honors since J.R. Estes in 2004. 

The designated hitter exploded in his senior campaign, breaking the single-season RBIs record in program history. Additionally, Chadwell led the team with 16 home runs and 81 RBIs across all 50 games played. He also remained disciplined at the plate, registering 38 walks. The power hitter snagged All-Region First Team and All-ODAC First Team honors for the second-straight season at BC. He was also honored with D3baseball.com All-American Fifth Team.
