BRIDGEWATER, Va. - D3baseball.com released the baseball all-region teams Tuesday morning from the 2026 season as three Bridgewater baseball athletes received the honor.
At designated hitter, Zack Chadwell (Chesapeake, Va.) posted impressive numbers all season. Chadwell broke the single-season RBIs record in program history. Additionally, Chadwell led the team with 16 home runs and posted 81 RBIs across all 50 games played. The power hitter snagged All-Region First Team and All-ODAC First Team honors for the second-straight season at BC.
At third base, Ashton Smith (Chesapeake, Va.) also landed strong numbers in the 2026 campaign. Smith smashed his season high in home runs and runs scored in his career at Bridgewater with 13 dingers and 53 runs scored. Smith received All-Region Second Team and All-ODAC First Team laurels to cap off the season.
The third selection for Bridgewater baseball was Bryce Suters (Broadway, Va.). The left fielder appeared and started in all 50 games played this season while collecting season-high performances in his career at BC with a 1.064 OPS and a .368 batting average including 71 hits, 51 runs scored, 52 RBIs, eight home runs, and 26 walks. Suters earned All-Region Third Team and All-ODAC Second Team recognition.
This honor marks the second all-region honor for Chadwell and the first all-region selection for Suters and Smith at BC.
