LEXINGTON, Va. - Washington and Lee stayed unbeaten in conference play as the Generals defeated Bridgewater, 20-7, Wednesday.

The Generals defense held the Eagles to just three shots in the first half and opened up a 9-2 halftime lead.

The Bridgewater offense found more success in the second half as the Eagles scored five times, but the Generals attack kept the pressure on to finish with the 20-7 victory.

Caitlin Costello and Megan Bach scored two goals each to lead the Eagles' attack. Katie Freeman, Leslie Crawford and Taylor Chamberlain also scored for the Eagles.

Emmy Mathews and Wilton Megrargel scored five goals each to lead the Generals.

Bridgewater is now 4-8 overall and 2-4 in the ODAC. W&L improves to 8-4, 5-0 in the conference.
