NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. - Paige Mayers of the Bridgewater College women's lacrosse team added an IWLCA All-Region second team selection to her list of awards this season, as announced by the association Friday afternoon.
A couple days after becoming the first USA Lacrosse Magazine all-American for the program since 1998, Mayers became the first Eagle to garner all-region honors since Sarah Pritchett in 2002.
Mayers ranked third in the league in goals with 62 and fourth in points with 81. Mayers also led the league in ground balls, caused turnovers, and draw controls. Mayers's 122 draw controls not only led the ODAC but also ranked 15th in division III.
