Box Score BRIDGEWATER, Va. – The Bridgewater College women's lacrosse team fell to Randolph-Macon, 19-9, in its ODAC opener at the Jopson Athletic Complex on Saturday afternoon.
Prior to the game, the Eagles celebrated Senior Day by recognizing Emily Jencks and Melissa Wilson for their contributions to the program over the last four season.

How It Happened
- The Yellow Jackets scored first as Lily Henderson scored 30 seconds in to the first quarter, 1-0.
- Lauren Roberts tied the contest on an assist from Aunnie Hacker with 10:23 left in the period, but R-MC scored less than 15 seconds later to retake the lead.
- After another R-MC goal, Kaity Petersheim kept the game within one goal with 6:57 left in the first, but back-to-back scores gave the Yellow Jackets a 5-2 advantage after one period.
- The Yellow Jackets tacked on five goals in the second quarter compared to just one score for the Eagles, courtesy Jenna Entsminger, as the game went to half with R-MC in front 10-3.
- Petersheim notched her second of the game to start the second half, followed by two goals from the vistors to set the score at 12-4.
- Ashley Venit scored her first of the game, but was again followed by another two Yellow Jackets goals, 14-5.
- Caris Cianelli tallied a pair of scores in the latter half of the third. R-MC scored thre more times in the fourth to finish out the 19-9 victory.

- Roberts and Cianelli each registered a pair of goals, while Entsminger and Venit rounded out the scorers.
- Hacker added to her team lead with her 13th assist of the season.

- Rachael Robinson stopped 13 shots and picked up three ground balls.
- Roberts led the game with eight draw controls, while Grace Pietro finished with four and Madeline Magill also had two of her own.
