Box Score LYNCHBURG, Va.- On Wednesday the Bridgewater College men's tennis team closed out its regular season with a 7-2 win over Randolph.
The Eagles swept doubles action with the senior duo of Matthew Gordon and Canon Secord cruising to a 8-1 win. Sophomore Gabe Elder and freshman Mark Gordon teamed up at the No. 2 spot for a 8-3 win. At three doubles freshman Matthew Leonard and junior Noah Hughes picked up a 8-1 to finish doubles play.
In singles action Secord added another win to his impressive career with a 6-4, 6-1 victory at the top spot.
Leonard added the clinching win at the No. 5 spot with a 6-3, 6-3 win.
Sophomore Bryce Cline added a 6-1, 6-3 win at the six slot while senior Leyton Pullin finished singles action with a 6-2, 6-0 win at No. 5.
The Eagles finish 9-4 overall and 5-3 in ODAC play and will wait for the final seedings to come out to see who they will play in the opening round of the ODAC tournament.
