WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Bridgewater College men's track & field team wrapped up its indoor regular season at the JDL DMR Last Chance Invitational.
Calvin Huellman competed in the 800 meter clocking a time of 2:01.58.
Bennett Cupps and
Ryder Rose took part in the mile earning times of 4:28.11 and 4:35.96, respectively.
Gabriel Miller rounded out the track events running in the 3.000-meter run crossing the line at the 9:28.51 mark.
Mike Smith continued his dominance in the weight throw giving a heave that measured 18.50 meters (60' 8.5''). The Waynesboro, Va. native beat out his original ODAC best (18.14 meters [59' 6.25'']) set at the VMI Winter Relays and sits 13
th in all Division III. Tony Nesselrodt grabbed fourth in the event with a toss of 14.57 meters (47' 9.75'').
Smith earned fifth in the shot put after a throw of 14.57 meters (47' 9.75'').
The Eagles return to action next weekend as they take on the ODAC Indoor Track & Field Championships in Salem, Va.
