Box Score SAVANNAH, Ga. – The Bridgewater College men's tennis team fell to (RV) Savannah College of Art and Design on Sunday to start its spring break.
The Bees opened by taking all three doubles points, but not without resistance at the top spot.
Matthew Leonard and
Corey Beshoar started strong, but a pair of service breaks late pushed the top duo for SCAD to the victory 3-6.
In singles action,
Noah Hughes put up the best fight for the Eagles with a serve and volley exhibition in the second set before falling 0-6, 3-6 at the No. 5 spot.
Gabe Elder also got on the board at the No. 4 slot before falling 6-0, 6-1.
The Eagles are back in action on Wednesday as they battle Dubuque in Hilton Head, S.C.
