HIGH POINT, N.C. – The Bridgewater College men's track & field team wrapped up day two of the VertKlasse Meeting Saturday evening.
Kyle Clanton recorded a top-10 finish in the 100-meter dash after clocking a time of 10.68. Clanton was second among Division III competition in the event.
Bennett Cupps recorded 11th in the 800-meter run crossing the line at the 1:59.28 mark. He now is 14th in the ODAC with the time. Calvin Hulleman secured a new personal best in the event clocking a 2:01.36.
Tyler Johnson finished 10th in the 400-meter hurdles clocking recording a time of 1:02.33. Da'Shawn Wilson registered a new personal best time of 1:03.33 to claim 13th in the event.
Mike Smith was the top DIII competitor in the both the discus throw and shot put. In the shot put, Smith registered a heave measuring 13.77 meters (45' 2.25'') to finish 16th, while in the discus throw he recorded a heave of 42.68 meters (140' 0'').
The Eagles return to action next Saturday, April 13, as they play host in the North River Meet beginning at 9:30 a.m.
