ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – Mike Smith of the Bridgewater College men's track & field team competed in the first day of the Augustana College Twilight Qualifier on Wednesday afternoon.

The Waynesboro, Va. native took part in the hammer throw where he registered a toss measuring 53.35 meters (175' 0'') to finish 12^th in the event.

The Eagles return to action to compete in day two of the Augustana College Twilight Qualifier beginning at 12 p.m.
