LYNCHBURG, Va. – The Bridgewater College track & field team competed in the Hill City Twilight hosted by the University of Lynchburg on Friday.

Mackenzie Young set a new personal record in the 5,000-meter run crossing the line at the 17:51.04 mark to still claim the fourth best time in the event.

Bennett Cupps ran in the 1,500-meter run finishing with a time of 4:02.76 while Calvin Hulleman participated in the 800-meter run posting a 2:07.40 finish.

The Eagles will send individuals to the Mount Olive Multis and First Chance meet in Mount Olive, N.C. on Thursday, May 9 starting at 11 a.m.
