Box Score FREDERICKSBURG, Va. - The Bridgewater College men's tennis team is currently competing at the ITA Southeast Regional hosted by Mary Washington.
The Eagles opened competition on Thursday as
Corey Beshoar was forced to retire in the opening round of the Championship Draw singles where he was trailing to the No. 5 seed in the main draw from Shenandoah 2-6, 2-2.
BC continued action in doubles on Friday morning as Beshoar and
Steven Perry fell to a duo from Christopher Newport 2-8 in the B1 draw, while
Coree Nicely and
Eli Entsminger fell to a duo from Hampden-Sydney 2-8 in the B2 draw.
Singles action continued later in the day as Beshoar rolled to an 8-2 victory in the Championship Draw consolation bracket, 8-2. This marked BC's first win in any form of the main draw since 2019 and the first singles win for the Eagles in any form since 2022. The junior fell in the next round 2-8.Â
