MINNEAPOLIS - Aiden Grefe and Aaron Nice of the Bridgewater College football team were named to the D3football.com Region 3 All-Region teams.

Grefe earned a spot on the first team, while Nice was named to the second team. 

Grefe's first All-Region accolade comes after a record-setting campaign. The Harrisonburg, Va. native set a new program record as he averaged 43.4 yards per punt. That mark led the ODAC and ranked fourth nationally. Grefe had a season-long 68-yard punt at Susquehanna in a game that saw him tally three punts of 50+ yards. His 364 total yards against the River Hawks is the second-most for an Eagle in a game, and his 52.0 yards per attempt set a new program record in that contest. 

A year away from the program did not slow down Nice. The Stuarts Draft, Va., native started his senior season with a bang as he registered four solo tackles for loss and tossed in half of another for a total of 4.5, the second-most in a single game in program history. Nice tallied 8.5 sacks in his senior season to rank as the sixth most in program history in a single campaign. His career tallies place him second in sacks (24.5), fourth in tackles for loss (48.5), fourth in solo tackles (142) and ninth in total tackles, just behind his father, Spencer Nice, with 242. 

BC finished 3-6 overall and 4-4 in ODAC play after its season came to a premature end due to an administrative forfeit by Guilford in what would have been its final contest.
