LEXINGTON, Va. - Bridgewater women's track & field kicked off the outdoor season at W&L Carnival in the two-day meet with strong marks Friday heading into day two.
Abby Mikolay claimed an event title in the discus throw posting a personal best mark of 42.18m.
Also highlighting the first day, Summer Wallace won the long jump with a strong mark of 5.28m. Wallace also took third in the high jump leaping 1.54m. Jade Buckles joined Wallace in the long jump also with a strong mark and finishing fifth individually with a mark of 5.15m.
On the track, Taylor Myers impressed taking second individually in the 5,000m running a new personal best time of 17:33.36.
