LEXINGTON, Va. - Bridgewater men's track & field competed well in day two action for the first outdoor meet of the season at W&L Carnival Saturday.
The Eagles impressed on the track in the two-day meet as Kyle Galloway highlighted the day with a confident time of 11.31 in the 100m, placing fourth. Also, Bennett Cupps took third in the 3,000m with a strong time of 8:55.84.
Joe Amlacher started the outdoor season hot, putting up a fifth-place finish in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.86.
In the field events, Walker Knicely placed fifth in the pole vault with a mark of 4.16m. Also highlighting the day for the Eagles was first year Joe Flynn who scored high in the discus throw as Flynn threw 39.98m for third while Antonio Harris also marked a strong 39.94m mark taking fifth.

The Eagles are back in action next weekend as they host the Doc Jopson Invitational on Friday and Saturday, March 28-29.
