WINCHESTER, Va. - Bridgewater women's track & field entered the south region final qualifiers hosted by Shenandoah with four competitors posting competitive marks Saturday.
Jade Buckles qualified for the 60-meter dash finals after posting a strong time of 7.76 seconds. Buckles later took second overall individually just milliseconds shy of first place. With that prelim mark, the sprinter improved on her third-fastest mark all-time in program history. Buckles then competed in the 200 clocking a time of 25.88.
Summer Wallace ran the third-fastest mark in school history in the 400 with a time of 1:00.11. Wallace also competed in the long jump for a fifth-place finish (5.05m).
Abby Mikolay threw a second-place mark of 12.49m in the shot put.
Brianna Morgan put up a fifth-place result in the weight throw for a mark of 14.01m.
The outdoor season begins on March 21 at Washington & Lee.
