BRIDGEWATER, Va. - Five members of the Bridgewater College tennis program have earned College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors, announced by the association on Tueday.
Matthew Leonard,
Mark Gordon and
Corey Beshoar earned the accolade from the men's team, while seniors
Raea Crabill and
Emma Staton were each named to the list to represent the women's team.
In order to be eligible, student-athletes must maintain a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher while participating in 70% of the institution's team matches.Â
Leonard and Gordon each earn their third-straight Academic All-District honor as the roommates have been named to the listings in each of their three seasons eligible for the award.Â
Staton and Crabill join Beshoar as first-time honorees to make it three-straight seasons with both the men and women having multiple honorees on the listings.Â
