RALIEGH, N.C. - The Bridgewater College men's tennis team took care of William Peace 4-0 on Saturday to open its spring trip.
BC opened by taking the double point thanks to an strong effort on court one. BC got a walkover on court three and BC's top duo of
Eli Entsminger and
Corey Beshoar rolled to a 6-2 victory to clinch the opening point.Â
BC got a walkover on court six to go ahead 2-0 before matches started in singles play. ENtsminger was on court for under 20 minutes as he gave BC a 3-0 lead with a 6-0, 6-0 win at No. 5. Beshoar provided the clincher at the top spot as the junior rolled 6-1, 6-1 to give the Eagles the team win.
Logan Garner and
Levi Waidelich were ahead in their matches at No. 3 and No. 4, but the match was played to decision.
The Eagles continue their trek south with matches in Hilton head, S.C. this week.
