BRIDGEWATER, Va. - The Bridgewater College baseball team is ranked No. 6 in the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) poll and No. 10 in the D3baseball.com Top-25 national poll announced Tuesday.
Last week, the Eagles went 3-1 with two ranked wins against Christopher Newport and Shenandoah along with a win in game one against Averett.
Bryce Suters has continued to stay hot at the plate, going 7-for-15 with two home runs, four runs scored, and six RBIs. Suters currently leads the ODAC with the best OPS of 1.317 this season with a season batting average of .448.
On the mound, Andrew Baugher has flashed some heat with a 1.15 ERA with 11 appearances and 15.2 innings pitched. Baugher earned his second win of the season against Averett last Saturday.
Up ahead, the Eagles take on nationally recognized Mary Washington on Tuesday, March 31, EMU on Wednesday, April 1, and nationally recognized Randolph-Macon on Saturday, April 4 in a doubleheader on the road.
