RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. - Bridgewater College women's golf finished the two-day tournament at the Music City Shootout hosted by Rose-Hulman in third place as
Emily Price led the Eagles with a top-five finish Sunday at Rolling Hills Golf Course.
The women totaled a season best for the spring with a 336 which set a 19-stroke improvement from the opening tournament.
Emily Price played consistently again on the second day and her +18 two-day total tied her for 5th place.
Hannah Rizzo shot 79 for the team day two low score.
Addy Sweet at 84 shot a personal collegiate best and the final score of 93 was provided by fellow freshman Ayana Smith.
Sarah Maggi despite improved ball striking had the drop score for the Eagles.
"Coached an improved group today," said assistant golf coach
Mike Clark. "After a long week it was great to end the spring break trip on a positive note and with positive momentum."
Eagles finished third, eight strokes behind 2nd place Kenyon at the event and behind nationally ranked DePauw who stood atop the leaderboard.
The women will return to action at The Ruckus on March 22-23.
