JACKSONVILLE, N.C. - The Bridgewater College women's golf team slipped two spots and will enter day three final competition in seventh place at Camp Lejeune Invitational. Their 345 team total added 12 strokes to their day one effort.
Hannah Rizzo once again led the Eagles shooting a (+5) 77. Emily Price shot 80 and freshmen Addy Sweet and Iyana Smith completed the Eagles scoring with rounds of 92 and 96. Although fellow freshmen Sarah Maggi was the lone player to improve on day shooting a 97; that was the Eagles drop score.
Currently Rizzo sits in fourth place in the 63 player field. Senior Emily Price is in a tie at the 10th spot and she moves to add to her top 10 finishes in her senior season.
The Eagles continues for the final day of competition tomorrow, April 12 with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start at the 53rd Camp Lejuene College Golf Invitational.
