FOREST, Va. - The Bridgewater College baseball team lands as the fourth seed announced by the Old Dominion Athletic Conference (ODAC) as No. 5 seeded Washington and Lee plans a trip to Bridgewater baseball field for the opening round of the ODAC Tournament. 

The No. 4 seeded Eagles will host the No. 5 seeded Generals in a best-of-3 series format beginning on May 2 at 3 p.m. The second game will be played on Sunday, May 3 with the third game if necessary to follow 30 minutes after the second game concludes.  

Heading into the opening round, Bridgewater finished the regular season with a 30-10 overall record and a 12-8 ODAC record. The Eagles split with the Generals in the regular season as Washington and Lee won at its home field, 13-7, and Bridgewater took the win at its home field, 13-3.  

Washington & Lee held a 20-12-1 overall record and a 10-9-1 ODAC record this season. In the head-to-head matchup, Bridgewater has the edge with a 33-20-1 record.  

The last time the Eagles faced the Generals in the opening round of the ODAC tournament was in 2022 when the Bridgewater took the series in two games in Lexington, Va.  

After the opening weekend, the four advancing teams will be reseeded and will square off in the finals round in a double-elimination format in Tysons, Va., at Capital One Park slated for May 7-9.  

Game times for the other opening round will be updated on the conference site and the school's website once more information is provided.
