BRIDGEWATER, Va. - The Division III baseball NCAA power index rankings were released this week as the nationally ranked Bridgewater College baseball team is selected No. 5 in the nation. 

The Eagles have four ranked wins this season while compiling a 21-5 overall record and a 5-4 conference record. In the Old Dominion Athletic Conference, three additional teams have been slotted in the top 25 in NPI which are No. 3 Lynchburg, No. 6 Shenandoah, and No. 23 Randolph-Macon.  

At home, the Crimson & Gold have a 9-0 record, while recording 14 games with 10 or more runs scored. Additionally, five hitters currently hold a .300 batting average or better, and as a team, the offense has recorded a conference-leading 259 RBIs. On the mound, the pitching crew has established a team ERA of 4.11 and have given up the fewest home runs in the conference with just three home runs.  

Along with the NPI ranking, in ABCA and in D3baseball.com, the Eagles are ranked in the top 10.
