HARRISONBURG, Va. - The Bridgewater College women's track and field team completed the first day of the EMU Heritage Invitational Friday evening. The Eagles had entries in only two events, making for a short day one.
Destiny Joseph was the lone BC entry in the women's javelin throw. Joseph placed third, posting a best throw of 27.61 meters on her fifth attempt.
Elizabeth Ramos, Emma Bobbitt, and Lilly Goldbeck all competed in the women's hammer throw. Ramos led the charge for the Eagles with a personal best throw of 33.87 meters.
The Eagles will resume day two of the EMU Heritage Invitational tomorrow at 3 p.m. The meet will be streamed live on FloCollege.
