FOREST, Va. - Ian Cook and Isaac Beals of the Bridgewater College men's lacrosse team earned selections on the 2026 all-ODAC teams, announced by the league office on Wednesday.
Cook garnered second-team honors in his senior campaign. The Alexandria, Va. native started in all 18 contests for the Eagles after only seeing action in 10 games in the previous three years of his collegiate career. The senior keeper recorded 186 saves this season, good for fourth in the ODAC. Cook had 12 games with double-digit saves, including on Apr. 15, where he recorded a career high 19 saves against an RV Roanoke squad. Cook earned ODAC defensive player of the week honors on Mar. 30 after recording 16 saves in a win against Shenandoah on Mar. 25.
Beals collected third-team honors for his performance during his sophomore campaign. The sophomore attack registered 41 goals and 15 assists for 56 points. The Carlisle, Pa. native also added 33 ground balls to his season stats. Beals tallied at least a point in every contest this season. Beals scored a career high five goals against Averett on Apr. 4.
The Bridgewater College men's lacrosse team finished the year with a 10-8 record, and 4-6 record in league play. The Eagles made their way to the ODAC tournament, where they ultimately fell to a nationally-ranked No. 5 Lynchburg squad on the road.
