LEXINGTON, VA.- Day two of the 2018 Washington and Lee track and field carnival included strong performances from Bridgewater College in both track and field events.
On the track, Alex Galloway earned a second place finish in the 200 meters with a time of 22.36.
Richard Wojno finished tenth in the 100 meters with a time of 11.59.
Anthony Lovelace finished fourth overall in the men's 400 meters at 50.67.
In the 110 meter hurdles, John Gieseler finished in the 14th spot with a time of 17.36.
Mark Robertson finished 14th in the 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:00.46.
Chase Rosenthal led the way for the Eagles in the triple jump with a mark of 12.99m ( 42' 7½") for fifth overall.
Prescott Terrell built off his success in day one of the carnival, with another strong outing in the shot put on Saturday. Terrell finished fourth with a mark of 13.08m (42' 11"). Corey Huffman finished not far behind him in eighth with a mark of 12.60m (41' 4¼).
Huffman also finished ninth in the javelin with a mark of 47.30m (155' 2"). Robertson finished 11th at 41.40m (135' 10).
Jordon Weatherwax finished out the day for the men strongly in the pole vault with a seventh place finish on a mark of 3.80m (12' 5½).
The men are back in action next Saturday on March 24 at the Goucher Track & Field Classic in Baltimore, Md.
