BRIDGEWATER, Va. -
Brandan Hartman has been named to the D3Baseball.com Region VI Third Team after his historic season.
Hartman put his name in the Bridgewater College baseball record book multiple times this past season including setting the program record for doubles in a season with 21 two baggers highlighted by a four double performance against Penn St.-Altoona early in the season. The Lumberton, N.J. native led the team in average, slugging and RBI along with being among the team leaders in walks and on-base percentage.Â
The Junior started every game for
Ben Spotts and company, seeing action behind the dish, in right field and in the designated hitter role. Hartman reached base safely in 40 straight games and in all but two games during the season.Â
Hartman adds the third team all-region selection to a third team All-ODAC selection he received earlier this month.
The Eagles finished the season with a 17-26 mark after falling to the eventual conference champion Lynchburg in the opening weekend of the ODAC Tournament in a series-deciding game three.Â
