WASHINGTON – The Bridgewater College women's track & field team took on the Cardinal Classic on Saturday.
Brianna Morgan placed fourth in the weight throw with a toss of 13.66m (44' 9.75'') moving her up to fourth all time in the program's top 10 and is ninth best in the conference.
Abby Mikolay recorded a throw measuring 13.42m (44' 0.25'') gaining a fifth-place finish.

Emily Smeds busted out to a second and third place finish in the 3,000m run with times of 10:46.38 an 10:52.29, respectively. Young recorded the earns a new program best time and still holds on to the seventh best time in program history while sitting ninth in the ODAC.
Jade Buckles qualified for the 60m dash semi-finals placing ninth in the event with a time of 8.22 close to making the final cut.
Sarah Earle participated in the 5,000m run finishing sixth in the event crossing the line at the 20:10.02 mark earning the fourth best time in the conference.
Bridgewater competes next Friday and Saturday in the Patriot Games hosted by Division I's George Mason University.
