BRIDGEWATER, Va. - Bridgewater women's track & field rounded out the 30th annual Doc Jopson Invitational with promising marks on Saturday.
In the 4x100 Jade Buckles, Adalia Coleman, Summer Wallace, and Olivia Bates won the event with a strong time of 48.15. Buckles showed out as she won the event title in the 200 meters with an impressive personal best time of 25.19. Buckles is now fifth-fastest all-time in program history. Buckles also took fourth in the long jump with a mark of 5.18m. Summer Wallace also finished strong in the 200 with a second-place result of 25.31, marking the sixth-fastest mark all-time.
Wallace then placed fourth in the high jump with a mark of 1.61m, making that a personal best. That mark is also fourth-best all-time. Wallace completed her third event of the meet with another top-three finish, placing second with a mark of 5.29m.
Olivia Crigger posted a 15.64 time in the 100-meter hurdles prelims to qualify for the finals later on in the day. That time marks the seventh fastest time in program history. Olivia Bates and Maddie Watson also qualified for the finals event with a time of 15.80 and 16.34. Bates finished off with a third-place result and Watson with a fifth-place result. Crigger finished out a fifth-place result in the long jump with a mark of 5.15m. Â
Adalia Coleman qualified for finals in the 100m dash prelims with a time of 12.92 (did not start in finals).Â
Aditionally, Abby Mikolay took second in the shot put with a mark of 11.94m. Mikolay then placed third in the hammer throw with a personal best of 41.94m which is fourth-best all-time. Â
Brianna Morgan posted a strong fourth-place result in the hammer throw with a mark of 41.57m, making that a personal best. Both Mikolay and Morgan improved on their previously set fourth and fifth best marks all time. Â

Olivia Crigger in triple jump placed second with a strong mark of 11.12m. Olivia Bates followed up with a third-place finish with a mark of 10.68m. Maddie Watson also had a strong finish, placing fifth with a personal best of 10.44m.Â
Abby Mikolay led the way in the discus with an impressive mark of 42.03m.Â
Taylor Myers won the 10,000 meters with a new school record time of 36:52.27. Regan Robinson finished strong taking second and holding down a time of 42:09.99.Â
